APPLICATION:
Low voltage power cables are used in electric power distribution substations, industrial applications to distribution electric panels, etc. While control cables carry signals from electrical devices, switchgears, etc to control room.
PROPERTIES:
- Ambient/Moisture curing is used for XLPE Insulation
- FR innersheath & outersheath material can be offered to meet the requirement of reduced Flame propagation characteristics as per ASTM-2863, IEC 60332 Part 3.
- FRLS innersheath & outersheath material can be offered to meet the requirement of reduced Flame propagation characteristics and Low Smoke & Low acid gas emission as per ASTM 2843, ASTM-2863, IEC 60332 Part 3, IEC 60754-1, SS 424-14-75.
- Copper tape, Copper wires or Aluminium tape can be provided as shielding / screening over laid up cores or innersheath.
- LSZH outer sheath for low smoke emmission.
- Voltage Grade - upto 1.1 KV

Conductor
Solid, Compacted circular & shaped, stranded circular- Annealed / Plain Copper / Aluminium
Insulation
The insulation shall be of ambient cure XLPE compound /PVC cmpound.
Laying Up
Insulated cores are laid up together, interstices filled up with non hygroscopic fillers to make the cable circular.
Inner Sheath
The cable cores are provided with a common covering of extruded/tape PVC/LSZHsheath
Armouring
GI Round wire / Flat wire (Strip) is applied over the inner sheath in case of three core cables.
Laying Up
Insulated cores are laid up together, interstices filled up with non hygroscopic fillers to make the cable circular.
Outer Sheath
The cables are provided with an extruded PVC / PE / LSZH / FR / FRLS outer sheath over the armour
