CONSTRUCTION:
Conductor
Aluminum/Plain tinned Cooper. Conductor above 1000 sq.mm cross section shall be segmental (Milliken) conductors.
Conductor Screening
Conductor screening of an extruded semiconducting XLPE compound shall be applied over the conductor.
Insulation
The insulation shall be of dry – cured super clean XLPE compound
Insulation Screening
The insulation screening consist of a layer of extruded semiconducting compound.
Mettalic Screening
Copper wire screen over Insulation screening.
Laying Up.
Radial Water Barrier
Moisture barriers as per the customer requirement Poly-AL/Lead/Aluminium Corrugation.
Longitudinal Water Barrier
Water Swellable Tapes to prevent water penetration between the core and mettalic sheath.
Sheathing
PVC/PE Sheath
