The Mysore plant of RPG Cables Ltd has
an installed annual capacity to manufacture
4,40,000 FKM of Optic Fibre Cables incorporating
state- of-the-art technology & backed
by an excellent work force of technically
qualified conscious quality improvement
program. Specialized machinery for Optic
Fibre Cable plant has been imported from
leading international manufacturers. The
well equipped on-line & laboratory testing
facilities from Photon Kinetics ensure that
the product meets stringent quality standards
from raw material to finished product. Major
clients include BSNL(DOT), Railways, Reliance
Infocomm, Bharti Telesonic, Tata Teleservices,
Asianet, Indus Media, ZEE & several
other CATV & broadband service providers.
The Copper Cables plant in Mysore &
Raebarelli have a joint installed annual
capacity of 7 million CKM of Jelly Filled
Telephone Cables. The cable goes through
the process of Wire Drawing, Core Insulation,
Twisting/Bunching, Cable laying, jelly filling,
screening, armouring & jacketing.
